Welcome to our mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class. We hope that you have had a wonderful summer holiday.  Your teacher this year will be Ms Atkins, and your teaching assistants will be Mrs Torres and Miss Parry.

We will begin the year by exploring our new classroom and learning the expectations for everyone, both in our work and our play.  We will learn how to develop supportive and co-operative relationships as we explore our classroom and resources.  We will learn about everyday materials, in our science unit.  In computing we will find out about and have a go at programming, whilst in history, we will learn about hospitals and healthcare.  We will also have fun learning about printing in our art lessons.

We will have PE on a Wednesday and a Thursday, so remember your PE kit. You will also need to bring your own water bottle to school each day, as well as your reading book.  Please make sure that everything that you bring to school is clearly named.
