Welcome to the summer term in Year 1/2. We hope that you have had a relaxing Easter break and are excited to start the last term of the year. Mrs Torres and Mr Baglow will continue to support your class teacher, Ms Atkins.

We have some exciting persuasive writing planned for this term. In science, we will develop our understanding of the seasons and learn all about plants and trees. After the half-term break, we will learn about kings, queens and castles in history and further develop our understanding of chronology. We will discover how to be our best and think about how we need to look after ourselves to be hygienic and healthy.  We will also begin to use technology to make music this term, which will be lots of fun. 

On Thursday’s we will have PE, so remember your PE kit. Please make sure that everything that you bring to school is clearly named.

As the weather continues to improve, please make sure that you come to school prepared for the sunshine, by wearing sun cream and bringing a sun hat and your drinks bottle.  We very much look forward to welcoming you into the classroom by 8.45am, ready to start the school day promptly.
