At Bugle Primary, we aim to develop an interest in learning other languages. We introduce children to French in a way that is enjoyable and stimulating, to simulate the children’s curiosity about language. We want children to have an understanding of different cultures and to develop awareness of cultural differences in other countries to our own. We aim to encourage and develop children’s confidence and to prepare them to continue their learning in KS3.
To support the delivery of French we use a subscription based program which allows pupils to learn the language whilst playing a range of fun and interactive games.
