We would like to take this opportunity to let you know about the Friends of Bugle School. We are volunteers, parents, Grandparents, Carers and Staff. Our main role is to raise much needed funds for the school through a variety of events that are organised throughout the year.
We are trying to get more volunteers on board to help with fundraising events. You might think that it will take up too much of your time, but you would be wrong. We work around you and what you can offer us.
If you have some spare time and are willing and able to come along to our meetings, or volunteer to help with fundraising events please come into the reception area for more details
New members mean new ideas and help the school to grow as a community.
Who can take part?
Everyone associated with the school can become involved, We have just had some parents volunteer to become committee members, but more are needed. We need more input from you to help with fundraising events. Either as willing helpers or just at the meetings with new ideas to keep the school up to date.
What have we done so far?
Every year the funds we make help the school to take the children on trips, new equipment used around the school, help towards the swimming pool and the purchase of books for the children.
How do we do it?
We are very interested in new events but the majority of the money we have raised recently has come from traditional events such as:
If you have any new ideas please bring them along to our next meeting.
All these events rely on a large amount of support from you, donating prizes, buying tickets, sponsoring children, helping at the events and attending the meetings.
More importantly it’s about a sense of community and partnership between the school, the children and their families, but most of all it’s about having fun.
If you would like to get involved just ask at Reception or come along to one of our meetings which are advertised on the school newsletter every family gets.

We use first party and third party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our Services to operate, and we refer to these as “essential” cookies. Other cookies enable us and the third parties we work with to track and target the interests of visitors to our Services, and we refer to these as “advertising” or “analytical” cookies. For example, the embedding of YouTube and Vimeo videos, as added by individual schools will require “advertising” cookies to be enabled in order to successfully play them. Schools that, for example, opt to track visitor data using Google Analytics will require “analytical” cookies to be enabled in order to do so. These third party cookies are used to tailor content and information that we may send or display to you and otherwise personalise your experience while interacting with our Services and to otherwise improve the functionality of the Services we provide. We also enable schools to employ cookies and similar tracking technologies in connection with their use of our Services in order to allow them to track visitors to and interactions with, their school website.
Our Services allows schools to embed code which may potentially contain cookies. Please note embedded content, if displayed on one our websites, has been added by the school and not by eSchools. The embedded content added by the school may require additional cookies or tracking technologies to be enabled in order to function.
